Connection Check
DNSBL (DNS-based Blackhole List) lookup is performed for the sender IP address. Known spam sources are instantly rejected. Suspicious connections are delayed via greylisting.
SMTP Protocol Validation
HELO/EHLO command, sender address, and recipient address are validated. Connections not complying with RFC standards are blocked. SPF (Sender Policy Framework) check is performed.
Spam Filter (SpamAssassin)
Apache SpamAssassin engine applies Bayesian analysis, rule-based scoring, and auto-learning. The Bayes database is continuously updated.
Virus Scanning (ClamAV)
